David Sealy is definitely excited that his play, The Weavers, is one of On Cue’s Test Drive productions, and he is looking forward to a great season of theatre. David Sealy has been living, working, and writing in Regina for most of his life. His short fiction, monologues, and poems have been featured in journals and anthologies.

For the last (mumble-mumble) years, Dave has focused on playwriting. His piece I Married a Dishrag won the Short Grain Dramatic Monolog. A longer version of this play was subsequently workshopped in Calgary as part of the Petro-Canada Stage One series. Three of his short plays were part of the Globe Theatre’s Sandbox series. His comedy/adventure/romance The Bob Shivery Show was produced at Calgary’s Lunchbox Theatre. He was the City of Regina Writing Award runner-up, and he subsequently won the award for The Weavers in 2012.

Alan Bratt has been an actor in this province since the 1970’s. Doing mainly voice work, lately you may have heard him asking you to be careful around power lines. It is an exciting change to be working on David Sealy’s play The Weavers for the legitimate stage. COVID complicates everything but there is a fine bunch of people in this production and we will prevail.

Born in Saskatoon and raised in Regina, Julianna lived and worked as a professional actor in Edmonton and Toronto for many years. Now back living in her hometown, she couldn't be more pleased to be part of Saskatchewan's vibrant and diverse artistic community and On Cue's Test Drive Season. No stranger to new work, Julianna was a company member and artistic associate with Catalyst Theatre in Edmonton from (1996-2004) touring both nationally and internationally. Saskatchewan credits include Trespasser's Waltz (The National Art Center in conjunction with Curtain Razors), Carmen Angel (Curtain Razors), Tale of the Town (Fix Point Theatre in collaboration with Curtain Razors), Homecoming (Souris Valley Theatre), Mom's the Word (Globe Theatre) and Girl in a Gold Fish Bowl (Globe Theatre).

Adam Robert Milne is an actor, writer, and director based in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Gillian Barker (she/her) is a stage manager and lighting designer from Regina, Saskatchewan. Gillian holds a BFA from the University of Regina, and is always happy to be putting up a show in the old stompin' grounds. Gillian has spent the majority of her career working with young performers or helping to develop site specific productions, often in outdoor spaces. Local credits include Globe Theatre, Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan, and Golden Apple Theatre. Among other projects, Gillian was lucky enough to spend time in Vancouver as a part of the MISCELLANOUS Productions team, working with culturally and socially representative youth who face multiple barriers and helping to facilitate a hip hop music festival. Gillian has been the Production Stage Manager for Do It With Class Young People's Theatre for the past eight seasons, indulging her love of musicals and developing a completely serviceable box step along the way.
