A young man with a few secrets up his well-ironed sleeves.
An old woman who isn't as far gone as she appears.
Let the games begin.
The Weavers is a new comedy from award-winning Regina playwright David Sealy. Tackling ageism and rural decline with a sardonic twist, this mind-game on a stage will keep you guessing between giggles.
Rights to produce The Weavers, in whole or in part, in any medium by any group, amateur or professional, are retained by the author. Interested persons are requested to contact On Cue Performance Hub, Inc.

"[…] Perfect for drama: a young man and an old woman are forced together during a blizzard [...] What follows is the stranger-on-an-airplane effect, as both characters reveal things about themselves that they would ordinarily guard secret."
— Ian Williams
"With themes of scores unsettled, the nature of fame (or is it infamy?) and the gulf between youth and old age, this work […] promises to be a tightly paced piece of theatre."
— Jenn Farrell
