Inside the Creative Mind: New Work in Progress

March 10, 2022

March 10, 2021 | 8:00pm | The Artesian

This is where it all begins - one night of innovative work-in-progress from writers and artists already creating the next wave of performative work. Expect talk-back.

  1. Nathan Coppens: Actor, writer, skilled pianist and vocal artist writes about what he knows – this time he is investigating the impact of ADHD. People with ADHD may have trouble focusing their attention on a single task or sitting still for long periods of time. Nathan distills his unique experience of ADHD through the lens of musical theatre.

  2. Adam Milne: Experimenting with movement and theatrical form, Milne is exploring myth making in the 21st century. In his play, The City, he is translating the video gaming quest adventure to the stage.

  3. Traci Foster, John Loeppky, Natasha Urkow, and Others (from Listen to Dis’): Listen to Dis’ cordially invites you into Bits and Pieces of Dis’ & Dat’ where LTD’ artists look at ableism, art, and the making of new work based on a few images, a rant, and a dialogical dance. Fuck Freedom... Let’s Talk about Survival!

This event was Pay-What-You-Will with a suggested ticket price of $15. Profits from ticket sales help On Cue offer more events and productions supporting local artists.
