Micro-Grant Program | SK Arts | $1,000 - $2,000

The Micro-Grant Program provides support to professional artists and arts organizations to achieve outcomes that respond to emergent needs; create access for first-time and underserved applicants; contribute to professional practice and development; and advance the professional arts and artistic practices in Saskatchewan.

Micro-Grant Program | SK Arts | $1,000 - $2,000

The Micro-Grant Program provides support to professional artists and arts organizations to achieve outcomes that respond to emergent needs; create access for first-time and underserved applicants; contribute to professional practice and development; and advance the professional arts and artistic practices in Saskatchewan.

The Micro-Grant Program provides support to professional artists and arts organizations to achieve outcomes that respond to emergent needs; create access for first-time and underserved applicants; contribute to professional practice and development; and advance the professional arts and artistic practices in Saskatchewan.


March 15th

Independent Artists Grant | SK Arts | $7,500 - $18,000

The Independent Artists program supports Saskatchewan artists to pursue their creative work and careers by funding creative, professional development or research projects, and the production and/or presentation of artistic works.


April 1st

Micro-Grant Program | SK Arts | $1,000 - $2,000

The Micro-Grant Program provides support to professional artists and arts organizations to achieve outcomes that respond to emergent needs; create access for first-time and underserved applicants; contribute to professional practice and development; and advance the professional arts and artistic practices in Saskatchewan. 


April 15th

The Indigenous Peoples Art and Artists Grant | SK Arts | $2,000 - $18,000

The Indigenous Peoples Art and Artists program supports the development and continuation of Indigenous Peoples’ art forms in Saskatchewan.

The program offers three grant streams:

  • Basic: supports simple projects that accomplish one or two things in any art form. This could be a great starting place for an artist who has not received SK Arts funding in the past.

  • Intermediate: supports more complex requests for moderate-sized artistic projects.

  • Major: supports professional Indigenous artists with a significant sustained practice, working independently, collaboratively or as a collective, to accomplish a substantial project over an extended period.

The Micro-Grant Program provides support to professional artists and arts organizations to achieve outcomes that respond to emergent needs; create access for first-time and underserved applicants; contribute to professional practice and development; and advance the professional arts and artistic practices in Saskatchewan. 


June 1st

Micro-Grant Program | SK Arts | $1,000 - $2,000

The Micro-Grant Program provides support to professional artists and arts organizations to achieve outcomes that respond to emergent needs; create access for first-time and underserved applicants; contribute to professional practice and development; and advance the professional arts and artistic practices in Saskatchewan. 


June 30th

Tour Support Grant | Creative Saskatchewan | Up to $15,000

This grant is aimed at musicians, bands and theatre troupes who are ready to perform for new audiences. Around the province, across the country or overseas, the Tour Support Grant helps musicians and other performers generate revenue and build careers.

  • If ineligible expenses exceed 50% of the project budget, the application will be deemed ineligible.

  • Activities that receive funding from the Saskatchewan Arts or SaskCulture are not eligible for support through Creative Saskatchewan investment programs.

The SFFA Awards Program | The Saskatchewan Foundation for the Arts | Various Funding Levels

The Saskatchewan Foundation For the Arts Awards provide financial assistance to individual artists. The program is funded by the generosity of donors who have invested and established Endowments that are administered by the Saskatchewan Foundation For the Arts. 


November 1st

The Micro-Grant Program provides support to professional artists and arts organizations to achieve outcomes that respond to emergent needs; create access for first-time and underserved applicants; contribute to professional practice and development; and advance the professional arts and artistic practices in Saskatchewan. 


November 15th

Live Performing Arts Production Grant | Creative Saskatchewan | Up to $20,000

This grant invests in Live Performing Arts projects that are ready to be staged for a paying audience to expand commercial potential. Live performances and digital broadcasts are eligible. This grant invests exclusively in the Live Performing Arts creative sector. This sector includes theatre, musical theatre and dance.

  • If ineligible expenses exceed 50% of the project budget, the application will be deemed ineligible.

  • Activities that receive funding from the Saskatchewan Arts or SaskCulture are not eligible for support through Creative Saskatchewan investment programs.
