Oak Floors! A New Musical

September 28 - October 1, 2023

A jazzy new chamber musical that puts us in the erratic hands of a wanderer through the hallways, stairwells and rooms of the Oak Floors, a heritage apartment building of which he was once the janitor. Now he wanders, taking us from character to character— all tenants of the Oak Floors, and all more or less afflicted with a basic question: better to stay where you know things, or better to take the risk of leaving. Or both, or neither.

“Annette is a Bimbo!” Filmed Live On Stage!

To celebrate National Coming Out Day, On Cue Performance Hub presents this one night only screening of “Annette is a Bimbo!” Filmed Live On Stage!

Part pyjama party, part drag show, and part record hop, “Annette is a Bimbo!” is a campy musical guide to Queer youth and romance for everyone who got picked up early, who lied about their crush, or who never got invited. Welcome to the best slumber party ever!

A professional dance performance and community talk-back. A diverse collective of dancers will perform and engage in discussions of experiences and stigmas around being cultural knowledge keepers and artists.

RISER Regina | May 9-13, 2024

Two one-act performances, presented together exploring common themes of love and loss, family, and living with dementia. Mother Calling explores stories and sounds from the last few years of her parents' lives as they experienced the losses of dementia while still sharing their love. The Crook of Your Arm explores the sense of betrayal that living with dementia has on the person suffering from it as well as those closest to them.

A devised theatre performance that explores how mental health can be affected when what one thinks is best for oneself does not coincide with what others think is best for you through the use of soundscapes, voice performance, and physical theatre.

Breaking the Curse

Proudly making its LIVE theatre debut, Breaking the Curse is an honest and inclusive exploration of menstruation for all. Through a tapestry of true stories collected from across the prairies, ranging from irreverent and humorous to touching (and sometimes cringey), Rachel Walliser fearlessly brings the individual and shared experiences of menstruation to the stage.
