RECREATING COMMUNITY TOGETHER

A cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural collaboration in creative community building involving On Cue Performance Hub, Common Weal Community Arts, Dance Saskatchewan Inc, Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan, Regina and Region Local Immigrant Partnership and the Saskatchewan Arts Alliance.

This artist collective component of this program will provide creative, performative and professional development opportunities for up to 4 artists from different creative fields and cultural backgrounds. These artists will develop a new creative work for public performance in March 2026, on the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. Beyond professional fees ($3000), the take-away for artists from this program is intended to include:

• Professional development,

• Artist-in-the-schools training and experience (with additional fees depending on the availability of artists to visit schools),

• Increased knowledge and understanding of Indigenous cultures and ways of knowing,

• Increased skills and experience in cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary collaboration,
