RECREATING COMMUNITY TOGETHER

We send diverse artists into provincial school systems to foster greater cross-cultural appreciation and inter-racial understanding through in-class and after school exploration of various art forms and cultural practices as mechanisms for responding creatively to racism and colonization.

We send artists into the Regina School system with the film of the artist erformance piece, Have You Seen nikosis?, which was premiered on March 21, 2026 in onjunction with our annual community gathering on the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.  Artists who helped create the performance piece and film talk about the process of working across cultural and creative disciplines and encourage students to create their own creative response to racism and colonization.

We programmed artists involved in cross-cultural, ant-racism work as presenters for teachers attending the annual Multi-Arts Conference.

We annually host school groups for preview matinee performances of the new performative works commissioned from the cross-cultural and multidisciplinary artist collectives which premiers a new work for a community gathering and feast on March 21, the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

Many thanks to our supporters and funders:
