Multimedia Workshop Session 2 - Danielle Dumelie
Session two - Lino Block Print
Lino block is a simple stamp-print-making process. Participants will create an image that they will transfer to a block. They will then use carving tools to cut out the image. Using ink, the image will be transferred onto paper as well as a collaborative poster with everyone’s designs.

About
Visual artist and educator Danielle Dumelie will offer a series of three two-hour workshops focused on giving participants an opportunity to explore multiple 2-D and 3-D visual arts media and complete a small project using one or more of these media. These are beginner level hand-on workshops. No prior experience in visual arts is required. All workshops take place in On Cue's workshop space at Northgate Mall, so spaces are limited and registration is requested to avoid disappointment. All ages are welcome so this is a great opportunity for the whole family to explore together. All materials will be provided.

Vibes YQR Street Dance Demo and Workshop
About
Eddy Alvaro, co-creator, instructor and MC along with instructor Laura Milliigen, both with the street dance collective Vibes YQR are dedicated to preserving and celebrating hip-hop and street dance culture in Regina. Together they will lead a demonstration and street styles workshop to introduce the basics of a few different styles over the course of two hours. This is a beginner level workshop. If you've ever wanted to experiment with hip hop this is a great opportunity to take the plunge! This will be offered in the dance workshop located next to the Northgate food court.
