Playwrights Reading Circle
About
A monthly gathering of playwrights, theatre people and others interested in the development of new dramatic work for stage, screen and new media. Writers bring drafts of their work in progress to be read by professional actors, and the reading is followed by responses and feedback from other participants. Circle readings take place on zoom and in person according to the location and needs of the playwright. Local playwright Leeann Minogue will be bringing a new comedy to be read at the September 28 Reading Circle which will take place on zoom. Anyone interested in new dramatic work is welcome. A great way to see how new plays are created and engage in the process. Leeann's previous comedies, Dry Streak and Homecoming, have been previously produced across Saskatchewan and nationally.
