Accompany us to the conclusion of our annual Femme Fest by honoring Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two Spirit People with traditional dance, music and drumming by the Kawacatoose Boys Singers & Dancers with Phyllis Littletent as emcee. The event will also celebrate the accomplishments of Indigenous female and two-spirit artists and cultural leaders. Susan Beaudin, retired Provincial First Nation and Metis Superintendent for the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education and a leader in reconciliation education will speak about the role of women in Indigenous cultures, and the evening will conclude with the music video, Warrior Spirit, created and performed by a collective of local Indigenous women. The evening will also feature tables by local Indigenous crafters and visual artists.

6:30PM Doors open
7:00PM Program begins with a prayer and talk by Susan Beaudin, Provincial First Nation and Metis Superintendent for the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education and reconciliation educator on the role of women in Indigenous cultures.
