Amanda Trapp (amandatrapp.ca) is a Cree/Saulteaux/settler actor and composer based in Saskatoon. Selected credits: The Herd (Persephone); My Name Is Rachel Corrie (Chrysalis); Half-Breed Vaudeville (Sorry/Grateful Theatre); The Other Side of the River (Sum). Amanda has a degree in Musical Theatre Performance from Sheridan College and spent this summer in NYC training with the Atlantic Theater Company. “I’m thrilled to be back in my hometown performing in a homegrown musical. Thanks to Mark, Gerry and team for bringing me home!”

Abbey-Taylor Weber has spent her life dancing, singing, acting, improvising, writing, directing, and designing sets for shows across the province. Winner of several provincial set and production design awards for the stage, she finds her purest joy in creating the stories and worlds of the shows she works on. A proponent of “intentional clutter”, she revels in creating, customizing, and curating objects for characters to draw the audience deeper into the story.

Aren Okemaysim is an actor, musician, and sound designer. Originally from Beardy’s & Okemasis Cree Nation, Aren studied in Globe Theatre’s Conservatory Actor Training program and has a BFA (Acting) from USask. He has appeared with Native Earth Performing Arts, Gordon Tootoosis Nikaniwin Theatre, Globe Theatre, Western Canada Theatre, Belfry, Caravan Farm Theatre and many more. Recent music releases: OKIMAW ᐅᑭᒪᐤ (Debut album, self-released). Aren is the Head of Sound for Globe Theatre in Regina.

Carter Powley is a freelance saxophonist, clarinetist, flautist, composer/arranger, and educator, holding degrees in music composition and education from URegina. He has performed with many local and international artists, and has been a regular in the pit orchestra for numerous touring professional and community musical theatre productions such as Chicago, Book of Mormon, Shrek, and Singing in the Rain. Carter can be found performing in many settings in Regina and throughout Saskatchewan and beyond.

Chancz Perry (chanczperry.ca) is a producer, choreographer, and triple-threat performer who has spent over 35 years in the entertainment industry – stage, screen, and behind the scenes. While continuing his practice as an interdisciplinary artist, Chancz has been an Artist in Residence in Regina Public Schools, a sessional instructor at URegina, and the Shumiatcher Sandbox Series coordinator at Globe Theatre. He is Outreach and Program Coordinator at Dance Saskatchewan.

With a BFA in Acting from USask and an MFA in Creative Writing from UBC, Clare Middleton has been working in and around theatre for several decades. Clare loves to teach adults and kids alike and has held several Artist in Residence positions around the province. She has taught theatre classes for USask, URegina, and UBC, as well as being founding member of Live Five in Saskatoon. Clare lives in Treaty 6 territory (Saskatoon) with her husband, two kids, three dogs and plants – too many plants.

Derek Klaassen is thrilled to be working with All Terrain Theatre on Oak Floors! He loves training and arranging photons, and is one of the few lighting designers to still call Regina home after all these years. Derek hopes you enjoy the show as much as he enjoyed working on this wonderful production. 

Gerry Hill began the process of creating Oak Floors! to help explore and enrich his own love of musical theatre. Before that his work was poetry, including seven collections (most recent: Crooked at the Far End, Radiant Press, 2020) and a year as Poet Laureate of Saskatchewan. He’s grateful for his team-mates’ patience with his faltering moves from solitary poet to collaborative theatre artist and for the commitment they have made to this show.

Joseph Shane McLellan holds a BA (Theatre and Performance) in 2020 from URegina. Selected acting credits: Spring Awakening, Bone Cage (URegina); Charlotte’s Web and Deck Chairs (Regina Little Theatre); Little Women (Regina Lyric Musical Theatre); The Trial of Louis Riel (RielCo). This summer Joseph played Rob in Stag and Doe (Souris Valley) and returned to The Trial of Louis Riel as F.X. Lemieux. Joseph is thrilled and honoured to be playing Gene in this premiere of Oak Floors!

Katie Murphy has enjoyed a 20-year career in musical theatre and choreography, from the 50th anniversary season at the Shaw Festival to the US National tour of We Will Rock You. She recently grew roots in the prairies to create a small human, and has worked with Globe Theatre, Sask Express, and CBC Gem. Katie holds a BFA (UBC), taught dance and yoga, wrote/performed a physical one-woman show for the Vancouver Fringe, and is a published poet. She is currently a communicator for RPL.  

Mark Claxton is a theatre artist, screen actor, and writer based on Treaty 4 lands in Regina. He also serves as executive director of the Saskatchewan Association of Theatre Professionals. Previous directing credits include Mark Crawford's Stag and Doe (Souris Valley Theatre), Annie Baker's Circle Mirror Transformation (URegina), and Daniel MacIvor's Never Swim Alone (Golden Apple Theatre).

Sarah Bergbusch is an actor, puppeteer, and improviser who holds a BA in Theatre Performance from URegina and has traveled and worked internationally. Selected Credits: Trespassers Waltz, Carmen Angel (Curtain Razors); Sir John A. Acts of a Gentrified Ojibway Rebellion, Making Spirits Bright (Globe Theatre); Comedy of Errors, As You Like It, Titus Andronicus, The Merry Wives of Windsor (Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan); Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (Ekstaticka).

Tianna Chorney is an actor, singer, improviser and stage manager finishing a degree in Theatre Performance and English Literature at URegina. Among Tianna’s acting credits are Come Along, The Portrait Project and Spring Awakening, and she was the assistant stage manager for Love and Information. Tianna spent last summer teaching with the Globe Theatre School Senior Ensemble, including a performance at Nuit Blanche. She is part of Handsome Bevel, Regina’s newest improv troupe.
