A premiere screening at the Regina Public Library Film Theatre featuring highlights from the season. Screenings include:

  • Selections from Making It Right

  • Selections from lift/break

  • Molten (A Music Video from Dan Innes)

  • Selections from The Weavers

  • Never Saw (An ASL Poetry Piece from Fatima T. Nafisa from Deaf Crows Collective)

All videos will be presented with English subtitles. Reception to follow.

This event is invitation only. Dress Code is Redefined Black Tie, whatever that means to you.

  • Making It Right: In the Future, We Walk with Goodness

    Selections from a dynamic public interaction between Indigenous and newcomer artists from On Cue’s season, filmed in October 2021. Joseph Naytowhow opened the event with an Indigenous welcoming ceremony and continued with an exchange of experiences and aspirations for “making it right” and “walking with goodness” in the future. This event was made possible through a partnership with the MacKenzie Art Gallery, which hosted and helped to fund the event. Primary funding was provided by SaskCulture.

  • lift/break

    Two people meet in an elevator…

    lift/break is a new devised theatre piece by Jessica Gares and Tai Reign. The show explores the relationship between Indigenous and settler youth in urban Saskatchewan, addressing the subtle and not-so-subtle racism that happens behind closed doors, even when people have the best of intentions. Taking place inside an actual elevator in the Warehouse District of Regina, On Cue is thrilled to have captured the premiere production on film and be making it available on demand.

  • Molten

    A music video by Dan Innes produced through On Cue.

    The song Molten is a song directed at lifting the spirits of listeners with a message of love and self acceptance. This optimistic piece was born out of personal experiences that provided these translatable insights. A fun song with optimistic overtones aimed to put you in that good mood.

  • The Weavers

    A young man with a few secrets up his well-ironed sleeves.

    An old woman who isn't as far gone as she appears.

    Let the games begin.

    The Weavers is a new comedy from award-winning Regina playwright David Sealy that was presented in February 2022. Tackling ageism and rural decline with a sardonic twist, On Cue is thrilled to have captured the premiere production on film and be making it available on demand.
