Kathryn Ricketts is an Associate Professor and Chair of Dance, as well as Director of Professional Development and Field Experience in the Faculty of Education University of Regina. Ricketts’ performative scholarship involves dance, theatre and visual arts and has articulated the methodology Embodied Poetic Narrative. Her work is focused on developing ‘voice’ through performance with vulnerable populations using artifacts and personal narratives. She runs The Listening Lab, a visual and performing arts ‘incubator’ and presents exhibitions and performances in her loft in the John Deere Tractor Building.

Alida Rogers has been dancing with FadaDance for 11 years, and has been with the youth company starting this year. She is attending grade 7 at École Saint Elizabeth school. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends dancing and shopping. She is 13 years old and was born February 11, 2009. She grew up in Regina Saskatchewan.

Amanda Rincker-Tarry has been dancing with Youth Ballet since she was 3. She is a grade 11 immersion student at Campbell Collegiate. She enjoys spending time with her cats and spending time with her friends, when she's not at the studio. 

Anna Woodward has been dancing with FadaDance for 11 years and has been a part of the youth company since 2018. She is a grade 11 immersion student at Campbell Collegiate. She enjoys spending her time in the studio and expressing herself through movement.

Elianna Hay has been dancing with FadaDance for 14 years and has been in the youth company since 2018. Enjoying time in the studio and expressing herself through her dancing is something she loves to do every week. She is a grade 11 student at Campbell Collegiate where she takes part in the AP visual art program.

Elizabeth Madson has been dancing with FadaDance since she was six years old and has been in the youth company since she was 13. She is a grade 9 student at Campbell Collegiate and enjoys participating in visual and performing arts. Elizabeth adores music, animals, and creative writing. She loves dancing because it allows her to express emotions and have fun!

Elora Ganshirt has been a dancer at FadaDance since 2008. She is a senior French Immersion student at Thom Collegiate. In her free time, you can find her with her friends, her cat scoot, or daydreaming about the mountains. Elora enjoys taking pictures and going on spontaneous adventures.

Iris James has been dancing with FadaDance for 11 years. In addition to dance, she loves to act sing and create various visual art pieces. She attends Balfour Collegiate and is part of the Balfour Arts Collective.

Jayden Zipchian has been dancing with the Youth Ballet of Saskatchewan for 11 years now and has been part of Company for 4 years. She is a grade 11 French immersion student at Campbell Collegiate. She enjoys dancing at the studio and creating movement through herself.

Leila Schroeter started dancing flamenco when she was in first grade. When she moved from Vancouver to Regina, she started dancing at FadaDance. She spends a lot of time with her friends on walks and bike rides or hanging out outside someone’s house. She loves baking and likes reading too.

Lily Hicks has been dancing at FadaDance since she was four years old. This year is Lily’s second year dancing with the youth company. In Lilly’s free time she does many things such as art, cooking, filmmaking, and more.

Memphis Shannon has been dancing with FADA since she was three years old. This is her first year with the youth company. Memphis is in grade 9 and goes to Campbell Collegiate. Memphis enjoys singing, dancing, and acting. She loves watching movies and spending time with her friends.

Neeve Reynolds has danced with FADA since she was three years old. She loves working with others and expressing her creativity through singing, dancing and acting! She is 14 years old and goes to Campbell Collegiate. She is excited to be a part of the youth company this year and she is hoping to further explore in the future!

Sarah Weimer has been dancing at Youth Ballet for 12 years. She spent four years with the Company and continues to dance while studying at the University of Regina. Sarah is excited to be a part of the creative process for this show and many more in the future. 

Skylar Yu has been dancing with FadaDance for 12 years and has been with the youth company since 2019. She is a grade 10 student at Campbell Collegiate, and finds herself at peace when spending time with her friends. Expressing herself through art and playing the piano has forever been an important part of her life.

Stella Sale has been dancing with FadaDance for 10 years. She is in grade 10 and she enjoys musical theater, baking staying up way too late, and spending time with her friends.

Suki Kembel has been dancing with FadaDance for 11 years. She attends Balfour Collegiate and enjoys being a part of the Balfour Arts Collective where she has many more opportunities to interact with all forms of the arts. Her hobbies include skiing reading and hanging out with the neighbourhood cats.

Tanisha Sarty danced at Youth Ballet of Saskatchewan as a student for 15 years. During her senior years, she was a member of their Performing Company. Tanisha is a recent graduate of the University of Regina, with her degree in Kinesiology. She currently works as a Personal Trainer, dance instructor, and CFL cheerleader. She has a passion for performing and loved creating dance alongside her fellow Youth Ballet dancers. 

Zoë James has been involved with FadaDance for many years now through classes, teaching, and being a part of the youth company. She is in her final year of high school at Balfour Collegiate where she learns through other art areas in the Balfour Arts Collective Program. Through this program, she explores singing and acting, two of her other favourite activities.
