A Night of Palestine and Israel

April 21, 2022

April 21, 2022 | 7:00pm | The Artesian

What happens when a Palestinian playwright and a Jewish Playwright come together to talk about Palestine and Israel?

Rania Al-Harthi is Palestinian-Jordanian-Russian-Canadian; Arthur Milner is Jewish-Polish-Canadian. Rania will read from Checkpoint, which received the Saskatchewan Association of Theatre Professionals Mentorship grant for 2021. Arthur will read from Facts, a murder mystery set in Hebron and performed in Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver, Istanbul, London (U.K.), and Hebron, Nablus, Tel Aviv and six more cities in Palestine and Israel.

Join us again as two theatre artists create a space for cross-cultural conversations and understanding as they engage in an artist to artist dialogue.

Readings will be followed by discussion. The bar will be open.

This event is free to attend and accessible to those with mobility issues. Donations will be accepted.
