Jessica Gares (she/her) is a film and theatre maker from Regina. She grew up a competitive dancer, which sparked a love for the performing arts. She attended Vancouver Film School’s Acting for Film and Television Program (2011/2012) before moving to Toronto to continue to train and audition for professional productions. Jessica then moved to London, UK where she co-founded the Odds and Ends Theatre company and produced fringe theatre. She returned to Regina for her directorial debut with Shoulderbirds Productions (Five Women Wearing the Same Dress by Alan Ball) for Theatrefest 2019. She returned to Europe, and was assistant director with the Orange Theatre Company in Amsterdam when the pandemic broke out forcing her to return to Canada. Her current focus is on creating socially relevant work that connects the people of this province and reaches beyond.

Tai Reign is a Two-Spirited poet from Peepeekisis Cree Nation raised in Regina, Sk. They first discovered poetry as a therapeutic outlet, since they’ve realized how powerful words can be. Now they use poetry to share their experiences, world view and make sense of the hardships they’ve experienced.

Actor and comedian, Shawn Koch, has performed on stages and screens across Canada for 20 years. His credits include: Supernatural, Stargate SG-1, Psych, Cagefighter, Masters Of Horror, and the upcoming Donkeyhead. He has acted in productions of Glengarry Glen Ross, King Lear, Bus Stop, as well as two appearances at the Vancouver Comedyfest. This past summer he wrote and directed his first feature film, The Art of KYHU. He currently resides in Regina with his son Grady and his dog Petunia. You can catch him every Monday from 7-9am as host of the Jam 'n' Juice morning show on CJTR 91.3fm.

Austin "The Noble Savage" Ahenakew has a unique style that weaves rhythm into storytelling and announces an urgent truth from the perspective of an Indigenous youth. Bringing an unapologetic approach to Indigenous struggles, abuse, PTSD and how skin colour is viewed. He brings sweet words to stage without sugar coating any part of the truth.
