Two people meet in an elevator…

lift/break is a new devised theatre piece by Jessica Gares and Tai Reign. The show explores the relationship between Indigenous and settler youth in urban Saskatchewan, addressing the subtle and not-so-subtle racism that happens behind closed doors, even when people have the best of intentions. Taking place inside an actual elevator in the Warehouse District of Regina, audiences are guaranteed to have a unique theatre going experience.

100% of the revenue from ticket/streaming sales go to Regina Treaty/Status Indian Services(RT/SIS) for Camp Hope and other services for people experiencing houselessness.

Rights to produce lift/break, in whole or in part, in any medium by any group, amateur or professional, are retained by the author. Interested persons are requested to contact On Cue Performance Hub, Inc.
