Into the Final Week

What a fantastic opening weekend!

As I'm writing this, it's Monday, Feb. 20th. Our day off during the run. Three shows are in the books, with crowds nearly at capacity. We have been blessed with generous audiences, ready to cry and laugh, and eager to stay for the two talk-backs we've conducted.

We have an exciting week coming up. On Tuesday we have a matinee and an evening show, the latter of which features ASL interpretation. We will have surtitles at our performance on Wednesday night. And then we're back with an evening show Thursday, a Friday matinee, and evening shows Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are selling fast, and all proceeds are going directly to the artists.

This play has been in development for nearly two years. It's been an absolute joy to hear from audience members about how meaningful and impactful the show has been for them. So many people leave feeling seen, heard, and represented on stage. We are breaking down barriers for people with disabilities, and audiences are loving coming along for the ride.
