Fundraiser for Night Sweats

Things are starting to heat up and I'm beginning to sweat both night and day. As I await the announcement of a successful (or not) SK Arts grant, I'm having a fundraiser for the play on Nov 26th at Q Nightclub and Lounge. The doors are open at 7:30 and the action starts at 8 p.m. with a wine and cheese. Then there is a drag show with some of your favourite local artists. I will provide and introduction to the play and perform a segment of the show. A little taster to whet your appetite. There will be a silver collection, a Penny Parade of items donated by local businesses, there's some merch. for sale and tickets to the play will be on sale. (There's a QR code on the poster). By the way it's a hot looking poster (see below) so don't miss it. Thanks to Landon for the graphic design.

Brad McDougall

I've done everything from Pantomime to Baroque Opera. It all started in High School when I got involved in musical productions. I was hooked. I started my theatre education at the University of Regina and after a year I took a nearly fifty-year hiatus. During that time I moved to the UK and worked in the West End as well as in the provincial theatres in the following shows: Chicago, Evita, Little Me, Time: the musical, Follies, Sweet Charity, Whose a Lucky Boy, Starting Here Starting Now, as well as various cabarets. I came back to Canada feeling that my muse had deserted me so I got an education that would get me a real job: B.Sc. in biology and M.Sc. in Physical Activity Studies. I worked up north as a Recreation Coordinator for a while and then came back to Regina to work for the Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region. Finished my theatre degree in 2022 and I'm looking forward to more writing and being back on the boards.
